Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment.

Local pharmacies provide a service to our patients; we can send your prescriptions electronically to your preferred pharmacy who can dispense your medications and deliver it to you.  Please visit your local surgery to organise this.

Requests may be made by post, via the internet or by posting a request in the box provided in the surgery reception area.

If you would like to order your prescription online you can do so by following the link to Systm Online at the top of this page.

We are unable to take orders or issue prescriptions at weekends, public holidays or out of normal surgery hours.

Please allow two working days before collection and make allowances for weekends and public holidays. Where possible give exact drug names when ordering.

Prescriptions can be collected from reception or can be posted to you if you provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
